I'm a Licensed Architect and Professional Engineer with a Master of Architecture degree and Graduate Certificate in Ecological Design from the University of Oregon.  With a renewed focus on my passion for building design and creating spaces for people, I've leaned on my 8+ years of professional experience as an engineer to establish myself as an integrated design professional in the architecture field.  I have experience in all phases of architectural and site civil design, from site analysis and concept design through onsite construction management and post-occupancy evaluation for commercial, institutional, single- and multi-family residential, and mixed-use projects ranging from 1-acre pad-sites to 50-acre+ public and private campuses.  I have professional architecture experience in higher education, civic, K-12 education, housing, commercial markets.  My work and education has focused on integrating environmental and social consciousness into design, and I aim to use my background to bring a holistic approach to designing stronger places, communities, economies, and ecosystems for people and our world.

With the enormous impact development has on our planet, we must rethink the way we design and construct our built environments.  Bringing a conscious approach to our building culture, designers can have a lasting, positive impact on the world through the creation of spaces that are efficient, elegant, and ecologically regenerative.
